Lucent Dossier at Coachella

Temptu’s favorite roaming cabaret tribe - LA’s Lucent Dossier – did a special performance at Coachella alongside musical greats The Cure, Paul McCartney and My Bloody Valentine. What better way to celebrate record 115 degree lows in the desert than with a midnight water performance. Lucent Dossier performers put Temptu Dura to the test withstanding unprecedented sweat and submerged underwater performances!

Some make-up artists have all the fun!  Amber Griffin, one of LA’s top makeup artists, has found her way behind the scenes of yet another great music video…and what a crew…MOTLEY CRUE!  Amber airbrushed everyone:  Nikki, Mick,Vince, Tommy, the guys from Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool, Charm City Devils, and the featured Victorian vixens, including their wigs!

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, Makes a visit to Temptu LA

 

 

 

 

Who in America wouldn’t recognize this famous horror icon!  But would you recognize her as the stunning blued-eyed, fair-skinned, redhead she really is?  That’s Cassandra Peterson, the creater and alter ego of the great Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.  Cassandra became an instant fan of Temptu after a recent airbrush demo at Naimie’s Beauty Center in North Hollywood and decided to stop by Temptu for another beauty fix.  This look was achieved with SB Foundation #004, Hi Def Pink on the checks, and Champagne Shimmer and Rich Brown on the eyes.

Temptu Makeup Sponsor to Celebrity Fashion Fundraiser Dressed to Kilt

 

 

Temptu hosted over 40 celebrities and VIP’s backstage as the official makeup sponsor for the annual fashion fundraiser, Dressed to Kilt, a benefit for the Wounded Warriors program and the Paralyzed Veterans of America through Friends of Scotland.  For this year’s theme The Colors of Scotland, JP McCary, Key makeup artist, “began with a flawless airbrush foundation canvas accented with colorful highlights drawn from vibrant tartans of the evening including reds, greens, blues, and yellows to match each model’s oufit.”  This year’s event featured participation from Sir Sean and Lady Connery, Andie MacDowell, Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Kellie Pickler (American Idol), Dario Franchitti (Nascar driver and Indy 500 Champion), Brian d’Arcy James (Broadway star of Shrek the Musical), Keanan Duffty (fashion designer), Alex McCord (Real Housewives of New York), Marcus Schenkenberg (model), Whitney Casey (bestselling author and TV personality), Lauren Tempany (Scottish supermodel), Stephanie Willemse (reigning Miss Scotland),  and Lawrence Tynes (New York Giants).  Project Runway’s Laura Bennett joined a host of bold-faced names as judges for the evening.

Canadian Makeup Show Vancouver

Temptu will be among the exhibitors this weekend and the very first Canadian Makeup Show in Vancouver. The show will run April 4th and 5th and will feature guest speakers Sharon Gault, Eve Pearl, Michael Key and Temptu’s own Danielle Fonseca, who will give a seminar on Hi Definition Airbrush Makeup.
