Advanced Training now Available!

 

For years makeup artists have been requesting that we start offering more advanced airbrush training, and now it is finally here! Temptu Pro is now offering Advanced Beauty Workshops which will take place once a month in New York and quarterly in Los Angeles. These workshops are exclusively for our Pro Industry and Artisan members and you must have prior airbrush experience. The classes will cover foundation color matching, countouring, highlighting, eye shadow, and eyebrows.

LOVE Dash Snow 1981-2009

July 23 – August 15, 2009, downtown art gallery Deitch Projects  and Dash Snow’s friends and family will be hosting a community memorial. Friends, family, and admirers are being asked to bring artwork, video and photos made in his memory. Friends have also brought in special works by Dash from their own personal collections. There will be previously unseen Polaroids from Dash’s studio included in the exhibition.

The memorial project has an open wall where Dash’s friends and admirers can write artworks and text in his memory.

The Dating Game is Back!

The news today…the Dating Game is going back on the air!   Makeup Artist Maria Maio, who has had her hand in many of  America’s top TV shows including, The View, ET, The Today Show, Who Wants to Be a Millionarie, All My Children, and the list goes on!  This Pro knows the tools of the trade and that’s why she used the new Temptu AIR and Temptu SB foundations on the new host, Paige Davis.  Here’s a photo of the two back stage.  Look how great Paige looks…camera ready?

Temptu Spotlight: Fran Cooper

 

Fran Cooper is one of LA’s most talented makeup artists who has worked with A-listers and Super Models such as Cindy Crawford, Amber Valetta, Rebecca Romijn, Diane Kruger and most notably, Janet Jackson.  Cooper has been Janet’s personal MUA for the past 5 yrs and is a big fan of Temptu.  She is currently on location (the Temptu AIR compressor in hand! ) with Ms. Jackson in Atlanta, GA for the film, Why did I get Married Too (Directed by Tyler Perry).  The sequel to Perry’s 2007 Why did I get Married is set  to release this Spring.  Enjoy these  inspirational looks!

Coming Soon: Temptu at Sephora!

 

The secret is finally out! Temptu is launching a consumer line with Sephora this Fall! Recently the staff was able to unvail the new line at a press event held in New York City. The response was amazing, as beauty editors and bloggers were able to have a Temptu Artist color match thier skin and then use the system on themselves. Watch out for us on Sephora.com starting in August!
