One look at Martha’s entrancing costume banishes any belief that practicing the art of magic means looking like a wicked witch. Here, full-on glamour takes the place of green skin and a wart covered face. For the finishing touch to her Spellbinding Sorceress costume, Martha Stewart came to TEMPTU PRO to design her special custom tattoo star headdress.
Temporary tattoos are such a hot trend right now! They are the easiest way to add some edge to your look without the permanent commitment. You could apply new tattoos to go with each outfit, and simply wipe it off at the end of the day!
They are great for photo shoots when you want to create a different character for each shot.

Rent, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning musical, recently debut at the Hollywood Bowl as part of the Weekend Spectaculars…or as we locals say, bringing Broadway to the West!
Starring some of Hollywood’s favorites, the cast included Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, Wayne Brady, and rising star Aaron Tveit, from Gossip Girls. The production was directed by veteran actor NeilPatrick Harris, also once a cast member.
To add to Tveti’s lead as the bohemian, rocker and songwriter, Roger, costume designer Angela Wendt and Makeup Department Head, Barry Lee, used TEMPTU PRORock and Tribal Tattoos.
Last night TEMPTU joined forces at Salon Eiji’s PAMP OUT Event to help raise money to benefit Felix Organization, a Non Profit Organization with a mission to enrich the lives of children in the Foster Care System. TEMPTU donated two gifts bags full of products for a silent auction to help raise money and also hosted revelers with airbrush makeovers and temporary tattoos by TEMPTU Pro Makeup Artists Heather Gerchberg and Jenai Chin. The event was a huge success! All funds collected will send foster children off to CAMP FELIX, a three-week summer camp in Putnam County, NY.
TEMPTU stars in this weekend’s blockbuster “The Bounty Hunter” alongside Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. America’s sweetheart goes in to get some ink – see if you can spot who is TEMPTU’ed and who isn’t.
The star of Taking Chance, Kevin Bacon, and several Marine characters in the film, can be seen sporting Temptu Pro Transfers. Most of the tattoos featured come from the Temptu Pro Line. (Get your Military Multi Pack Here!)
In addition to working on set with the young soldiers, Makeup Artist Exdordinare, Jenai Chin, specially designed a Tribal Eagle tattoo for Kevin’s character, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl. Taking Chance is a moving tale that portrays the true story of a Marine who volunteers to escort the remains of a 19-year-old killed in Iraq to his family in a small Wyoming town. Newly released on DVD.
We like to do things with style. For the opening of Temptu L.A. we teamed up with artist Jason Rogenes to design a custom light installation; he will also be drawing designs that we will convert into limited edition Temporary Tattoos.
Jason was recently featured in Surface Magazines Spring Fashion 2008 edition. Check out his website at http://www.rogenes.com (this guy is amazing!)
World-famous tattoo artist Tim Kern talks to Premiere about working on the extensive tattoo designs for Charlie Kaufman’s greatly anticipated directorial debut, ‘Synecdoche, New York’ — and which star tattooed him behind the scenes.
Synecdoche, New York is the hotly anticipated directorial debut from Charlie Kaufman, the eccentric writer behind Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation and Being John Malkovich. His trippy scripts, which examine the nature of memory, love and identity in bizarre new ways, feature elevators that stop between floors to reveal alternate universes, a blocked writer who jumps into his own screenplay and a machine that erases the heartbreak of losing a lover with Kool-Aid colored hair.
This time around, Kaufman stepped behind the camera when frequent collaborator Spike Jonze, the director originally attached, bowed out to helm Where the Wild Things Are. The flick stars Philip Seymour Hoffman as Caden Cotard, a theater director whose new play calls for a warehouse-sized replication of New York. The title is both a nod to the city where it takes place, Schenectady, NY, and the SAT bonus word that means “[a] figure of speech by which a part is put for the whole (as fifty sail for fifty ships), the whole for a part (as society forhigh society), the species for the genus (as cutthroat for assassin), the genus for the species (as a creature for a man), or the name of the material for the thing made (as boards for stage),” according to Merriam-Webster. Caden’s world and his work collide in his complicated relationships with the women around him: his ex Adele, played by Catherine Keener; her friend Maria, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh; his daughter Olive, played by Robin Weigert; his wife Claire, played by Michelle Williams. Subplots and intertwining relationships unpack themselves like Russian nested dolls.
