Whether you are a Tim Burton fan or not there are a lot of reasons to get excited about Alice and Wonderland‘s upcoming release. First of all lets talk makeup. If Johnny Depp’s look above alone doesn’t get you going know that his amazing look is just the tip of the iceberg. Key makeup artist Leslie Devlin also works her magic on Anne Hathaway (The White Queen) and Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen), playing up their fair skin with stark red lips and sky blue eye shadow. Devlin’s makeup choices were so hot Urban Decay is developing a pop-up-book-like shadow palette using her show-stopping colors as inspiration.
Not a makeup nut like me? Than all you have to do is sneak a peek at the sets and artwork being used to bring Wonderland to life to cement your Alice obsession. C. Scott Baker, who also worked on Avatar and Star Trek, seems to have outdone himself with Alice in Wonderland. Not to mention the movie is in 3D!! Lets get excited people if Alice and Wonderland is a sign of things to come out of the film industry in 2010 we should be in for an amazing year!
