TEMPTU PRO: A Revolutionary Company in Action at The Makeup Show NYC, 2010

The 2010 Makeup Show NYC was an event to be remembered. Held the 16th and 17th of  May at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea New York. Many of the top players in the beauty and fashion industries were in attendance. For the fifth year this tradeshow proved to be in a class of it’s own.  Attendees flew in from around to world to view the most up-to-the-minute products, technology and techniques being used and launched throughout the beauty industry. TEMPTU PRO, a consistent leader in creating innovative and cutting-edge products, held a strong presence in the production of the event, being a platinum sponsor. The launch of new S/B Pro Blush Colors was a huge hit selling out within the first day.  Temptu professionals also offered training with demonstrations at the booth and  formal informative presentations.

One of Temptu’s very own makeup specialists, Danielle Fonesca, gave a keynote speech on Editorial Airbrushing. Click here for more on information on Danielle (Dani). It was a riveting and exciting demonstration of how and why airbrush makeup is not only the best, but quite clearly the only way to achieve the results longed for in the industry In only 45 minutes, Danielle was able to create three distinct fashion-forward looks on one model. For the first editorial look she created a neutral bridal look, creating the flawless “without makeup look”, a current trend in the industry according to several outlets such as Marie Claire Magazine. After finishing this look, Danielle moved on to a more high fashion dramatic look by adding a smoky eye, black brow, contoured skin and a nude lip. Continuing to build upon the previous layers of airbrush makeup, Danielle created an avant-garde high fashion avant-garde look with the use of both bright green and yellow hi-pigment color for the eyes. This is a look seen on the runways and reminiscent of the high voltage color palate of the 80s.

This was a great success for Temptu Pro, as well as all of those present. With industry professionals mingling, able to come together for a similar cause in one space, The Makeup Show shaped a space for learning, observation and just plain fun. The energy was high and the exhilaration in the air was strong.  Temptu continues to be at the forefront of the makeup industry’s advanced technologies and is always on the hunt for more expertise. As such, Temptu Pro looks as though they won’t be settling for anything less than success in the coming years.
