Ouch! ABC new flagship series, Flash Forward, premiered last week showcasing dozens of injuries, burns, abrasions, lacerations etc. all created by Master Fx Studio artists. Ken Niederbaumer had this to say about Temptu’s Pro Burn Palette:
“The director requested makeup for a burn victim, and I felt this was a great opportunity to use the “Burn” palette by Temptu. The palette had everything I needed to achieve many levels of burns, from 3rd (charred meaty flesh) to 1st degree (sun burn). It cut my work in half because it had all the colors I needed.”
The show airs Thursdays 8/7 c and depicts the effect of a “Global Flash” causing the main characters to see flashes of their future. Definitely worth watching!
*Makeup was created “out of the kit” by Ken Niederbaumer and Todd Masters.

For designer Reem Acra, Spring was all about beautiful flowing dresses and soft colors. Backstage the Temptu Pro team took this inspiration and created a soft beautiful look to compliment the clothes on the runway.
How to get the look:
For the skin, the team was very light handed with the foundation, only using enough to cover any blemishes and to make the skin look healthy.
On the cheeks, S/B Blush in Peach (#42) was used on the apple while S/B Highlighter Pink Pearl (#50) was used for the top of the cheeks and around the brow bone.
The eyes were a mixture of the Rich Brown Airbrow color (#61) and the Violet adjuster (#35). This mixture was used sparingly on the eyes, to create a mod look on the models.
Finally the look was topped off with brown eye liner and a lip balm.
